What Is Microfiber?

Camellia microfiber is a blend of 70% polyester and 30% polyamide that can be used across a diversity of purposes, making our materials ideal for spa use. Microfiber can be constructed in a range of different textures, each providing its own features and benefits. The Camellia collections are available in an assortment of woven and knitted microfiber textures, including Chammy (suede), Waffle, Sand Wash, and Velour. All of these selections can be used with chemicals without any harm to the microfiber materials. The durability of these fabrics permits Camellia towels to be washed hundreds of times without creating lint or textile loss. Microfiber is also known for its extremely fast dry time, deterring bacteria and mildew build-up, and absorbing water from hair and skin more quickly than other towel materials. The tightly-woven construction of microfiber is what crafts the stain-resistant feature behind the Camellia Collections.
